United Alloy Invests in Community by Acquiring Land for Permanent  Third Location in Quincy, Illinois

We are thrilled to announce that UA has officially acquired land to build our third permanent facility in the Great River area!

This strategic expansion underscores United Alloy’s dedication to fostering strong local connections while addressing the rising demands of their valued customers. The newly purchased land is located just east of the current location, south of Ellington Road.

The plan is to break ground by 2025 and construct a 200,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility in the Gem City.

United Alloy Adds A Third Location in Quincy, Illinois

We are increasing our footprint with a 24,000 sq. ft. facility located in Quincy, IL. The addition of a third location will help us continue to expand capacity and meet the needs of our growing customer base.

We chose Quincy because of their great workforce within the tri-state region of Western Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa. We partnered with the Great River Economic Development Foundation to select the right location that would suit our current needs and help us become part of the Quincy Community.

To start, the Quincy location will remain small and be a weld only facility for a few years. Once we gain our footing in the area, the plan will be to construct a larger facility. The goal is to begin welding our first product by the beginning of April 2023.

United Alloy Eliminates Mandatory Weekend Overtime

Effective as of October 24th, 2022, United Alloy has given our employees their weekends back by eliminating mandatory weekend overtime! A new shop floor schedule has also been implemented for the following areas of our shop: weld, paint and assembly. These areas are now on a four-ten schedule, Monday-Thursday.

Breaking News!

United Alloy Texas Facility Breaks Ground on New Expansion 2022

We have broken ground on a nearly 110,000 square foot expansion of our existing manufacturing facility in Seguin, Texas! This expansion will include the latest automation for light sheet metal fabrication, powder coating, and assembly. The extra space will allow us to continue to grow its capacity fabricating and assembling sheet metal enclosures for large OEM customers. We also plan to dedicate space to launch an apprenticeship program that will allow it to train entry level welders, fabricators, painters, and assemblers. This expansion will grow our U.S. manufacturing footprint across all of our facilities to 570,000 square feet. This growth is a result of our hard working dedicated employees and loyal customers.
